Appointments
Email to arrange an appointment time. Please appreciate that due to work scheduling, you may have to wait several days. Priority is given to current projects and deadlines for existing clients. For client calls, I generally aim to make time for your appointment call within 24-48 hours (depending on travel and my schedule).
Contact Hours
My policy regarding the telephone and email is that I’m not available for instant calls or response to incoming messages. To operate like that would mean I’m currently doing nothing of importance, which is not very productive for me! Also, taking a phone call or answering an email creates a period of interruption in my thinking … so I’m sure you’d agree that if I was working on your project, you would prefer me to stay focused and not be distracted.
Yes, it makes it a little harder to get hold of me. I make no apology for that. I also don’t use a mobile phone for work (and rarely have my personal handset in the office — it doesn’t even take voicemail messages). It’s the best way I can be productive and serve my clients.
Generally incoming phone calls will not be answered live. Return calls and appointment calls are usually made closer to 5pm. During working hours outside of these times, you’re welcome to leave a phone message — or follow the link above (or complete the form below) to send an email (which is preferred). I will endeavour to get back to you within 2 to 3 working days, depending on my travel and schedule.
